Today is officially one year since I became a full-time graphic designer! Yup, one whole year doing what I should’ve been doing in the first place. I’m working where I wanted to be since before I moved here. Everyone I work with are the kind of people I wanted to be around.
I ended up at this job exactly one month before the whole country shut down. Riding out this pandemic has actually been pleasant on the workfront. Had I been anywhere else, life may have been very different for my little family. Thankfully, I’m surrounded by wonderful co-workers who are understanding and human. Let’s face it, us artists are weird people. If we’re not creating, we hit a dark and ugly place. But I’ve been so encouraged and have been set free to go wild!
This year has been such a year of growth and inspiration. While I’ve let go of the wedding and quinceañera photography world, I’ve pushed myself into learning new things. I’m excited for what’s yet to come!
