Miss Aria and I have gotten into this thing where at the end of the week, we reward ourselves with a trip to the cupcake shop. It’s our prize for making it through the week. We both really look forward to it all week long. By Wednesday she’s asking me if we can go to the shop? In my mind I really want to say yes, but I have to be strong and keep our trips for Friday. Totally worth it! And it’s a good way to keep her motivated to get up in the mornings.
With the frozen tundra that has hit Texas, we’ve been stuck at home. We introduced Aria to bigger board games. Right now she’s loving Monopoly. Vince and I used to play it a lot when we first started dating. We even made a drinking game out of it! We hadn’t played in a long time, so it’s been nice to get into it again. Aria’s actually really good at it!
