Bad Office Lighting

So today is my last day working for education. Two weeks ago, I put in my notice that I would be moving on. This week, (especially today) has shown me why leaving here is the best decision for myself at this moment.

I have a feeling I’ll be okay.

I’ve been hired to do marketing for a local company. This came about very quickly! Even before I interviewed with them, they had gone through my online portfolio and were excited about what I do. When I met them, I just had all sorts warm & fuzzies. This position is more in line with the work I do and something totally new for me. It’ll be an adventure!

Honestly, I’m a little scared. At the same time I’m excited. Last year when things started going down the drain for me, I thought about the things I want for myself and my career. Coming down to it, this new job is the next step. It’s what I need to move towards the goal.

God and I had so many conversations about all this. I’m content with my decision and am trusting the process. So, here’s to the next step!
