Going Deaf And Other Fun Stuff

Dude! I think these West Texas winds are spreading some kind of something. Everyone around me is falling apart in some way. One of my coworkers is suffering from sinus stuff. Another one is dealing with the worst seasonal allergies. I have lost hearing in my right ear. Vince has some scratchy throat and head stuff going on. Even Aria has had some drainage and cough.

Then today I started this 10-week marketing course. I was already tired from working all day, but I’m committed to doing this! So Vince took Aria to dance and picked her up. By the time I was done with my class, it was 8:30pm. By then it was too late to make dinner, and I had no motivation to go pick something up.

So I told Vince I was just going to have a quick bowl of cereal. He just had some chips and salsa. Aria was super hungry. Thankfully she’s easy to please and just wanted a couple of cheese sandwiches.

As my husband was cleaning the kitchen while I got Aria’s clothes ironed, I told him, “Someday we’ll pay someone to do all this.” Yes, but just not today. So we still got to keep grinding even though we’re falling apart and tired AF!
