The Chaos Chapter

You ever feel like when one piece of your life is a mess, everything else is a mess? Well, right now I feel like my life is in shambles.

A few weeks ago, my bathroom started having crazy problems. Thankfully my Uncle has been working on it to fix it for us. Unfortunately, since he lives out of town, he can only do so much at a time. So while he works on fixing someone else’s faulty craftsmanship, my house is a giant mess. My entire closet is living on my bed. Vince and I are sleeping in our guest room. We’ve had to rearrange the way we do things every day. It’s taking some getting used to.

Then, I’ve been preparing a bunch of stuff for consignment. This added another giant mess to my house. But, I was able to get a good portion of our old stuff out of here.

Last week we had a bit of a scare at Aria’s school. A situation very close to the school caused a lockdown. Thankfully, Vince was at the school when everything happened. He kept me in the loop with everything going on. It gave me hope that my baby girl was okay.

Last week I ran into a friend who is making major boss moves. I told him I was totally jealous and I wish I could figure out my life so I could do something for myself. The truth is, every time I start to work on my “Unicorn Space” projects, life happens, or I have family situations to take care of first. Before I know it, time has flown, I made no progress on my project, and I tell myself, “I’ll try again tomorrow.” And then repeat. Hell, even writing in my little blog has taken a back seat to my life.

So now, I’m just trying my hardest to keep it together and not give up hope. Can we just win the lotto already?
