I Purple You

A couple of weeks ago, Aria and I got to go watch BTS’s Yet To Come concert that showed in theaters all over.

A little back story first. Last year BTS did a similar presentation in theaters, but Aria ended up being on spring break and went out of town at that time. I didn’t want to get a refund on the tickets because I really wanted to see the concert. And tickets were like $40 each! So I invited my fabulous buddy James to go with me. We ended up having way too much fun and drank way too much. (Seriously, between this, drinks and food, I dropped like $300 that day.) It was awesome!

So this year, BTS released their last concert to theaters. Mr. Alexander gave me a gift card to our local Alamo Drafthouse for Christmas. I decided this concert would be the perfect Mommy & Aria date night!

This time around, tickets were only $25 each, but the concert was SOOOOO much better! The fabulous Bangtan Boys sang lots of the older songs that made them famous. The part I loved most – the rap line tore it up with some of the songs that got BTS going in the beginning of their career. Of course, Aria and I headbanged the whole time. We had so much fun!

I feel like more thought and love was put into this concert. The whole thing was a beautiful production. All in all with this concert, BTS showed the world why they’re the kings and their ARMY will be patiently waiting for them to come back in 2025.
(Hopefully by then I can take Aria to one of their live shows!)
