Dear Daughters

Dear Daughters of Generation Alpha and beyond:

I’ve taken a few days to try to figure out what this feeling is. After some careful thought, I pinpointed it. It’s not anger, fear, rage, or jealousy. It’s sadness.

I’m sad because everything that was built for you is being destroyed.

I am living in a time when the people around me are selling off your future and your rights in order to save a few cents at the gas pump. Right now, the rights others have fought and died for in order for you to live free, are being handed over as a sign of loyalty to their empty god.

They are fan-girling a rapist. They are worshipping him as a savior. They are willing to turn a blind eye to the actions of a monster under the promises of great fortune. I don’t understand how they don’t see the demon I see. The demon who is laughing at us while he continues to spread poison into the atmosphere. Poison that will destroy us all and leave you with a world in shambles.

Daughters of Gen Alpha and beyond, at this moment you are all small children, and some of you have not been born yet. I promise you I will continue to carry that purple, white, and gold flag for you. I will continue to fight for you. From this fight, I do not seek profit or glory. I do this for one reason only – I LOVE YOU.
