My Apologies Please

Wow! My little blog has been abandoned since September! Please accept my apologies. Last semester was crazy busy in all things work, school, and life. I start school again this week, and it’s looking like I will be just as swamped as last year. The only difference this time is that it will be the last.

Yup, last week I submitted my application for graduation. I cried when I hit that submit button. I can’t believe I’m here. When I began the program, it seemed so far away. I even doubted myself being able to finish. But these two years have flown! This semester, I’m taking my last elective and my capstone project. It’s going to be intense, but I’m looking forward to it. #NoMeRajoChingao

During the Christmas break, I decided to just rest. And I sure did! I slept in every day. I binged so much Netflix! I drank all the beers, ate all the yummy foods, and chilled waaaay hard. It was great! Unfortunately, I put on six pounds, but I promised myself I’ll get back on my healthier habits now that school is starting again.

So please accept my apologies beforehand because I will probably abandon my blog again. But I promise I’ll get back to my regularly scheduled shenanigans after I earn my degree.

For now, enjoy a few pics from our break:

Kicking off the Christmas season with my favorite humans!

Annual trip to Santa Land!

A little date night con mi viejote!

We drove out to Tulsa for a bowling tournament Vince participates in each year. Aria asked us to stop at the OKC National Memorial on our way.

She loves visiting the Survivor Tree.

I left a little Estrellita StaR on the fence outside the Memorial.

After a great breakfast, we made it to the bowling alley. Got his game face on!

Being total bowling fangirls!

In Tulsa, we found the cutest cafe called The Pump. The food was sooo good! They had Christmas trees hanging off the ceiling!

Running errands on Christmas Eve before the familia rolled into town. He’s so handsome!

Christmas morning. Yes, Aria got a phone. I still don’t know how I feel about it.
